Brandy Goins has a Master of Science and Ph.D. (abd) in Forensic Psychology. Ms. Goins is a licensed professional counselor, Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTHP). Ms. Goins is a licensed professional counselor and an Affiliate Sex Offender Treatment Provider, supervised by Dr. Jean Stanley, LPC, LSOTP. Ms. Goins is also a certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTHP)She has a diverse forensic and mental health professional background that includes: mental health and addiction counseling for adults and adolescents, group facilitation, forensic interviewing of children and victims of crime, advocacy in domestic violence, sexual assault and outreach and education in both the private and government/military sectors, non-profit program management, grant writing. She has served as an expert witness in courts throughout Louisiana and provided specialized mental health services to clients associated with the legal system, criminal and civil. She began a Children’s Advocacy Center in Louisiana in 2010 that is still running today. She has earned more than ample hours of Continuing Education to receive the highest level of national certification in advocacy. As a therapist with Pathways FMHS, Brandy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both victim advocacy, counseling, and community education. Her focus is to help facilitate growth, change, and resolution for individuals, families, and couples seeing help with behavioral or relational challenges.
